January 28, 2010

On Thursday January 28 in Drawing 111 class, we worked on one-point perspective drawings. In high school I took two years of art class and I learned one-point perspective with a totally different strategy. Due
to that, grasping and wrapping my mind around a different approach to this drawing has been difficult for me to understand. I think I figured out the unit measurement aspect and hopefully I can turn in a successful assignment. Looking at classmate's drawings also helped me see the depth and technique in different points of view. I also need to work on taking risks and stepping out of my comfort zone. I like to do things to the best of my ability, but I also like to take my time. I do think this class with make me a better drawer also I hope to get better with the different mediums we will be using.
